Connect Sleeknote to Claude as a custom connector, so Claude can work with your campaigns directly in chat. Custom connectors work on claude.ai and in the Claude desktop app. Free plans are limited to one custom connector.
What you can do with the Sleeknote MCP
The Sleeknote MCP connects your AI assistant to your Sleeknote account. Instead of digging through the dashboard, you can ask questions about your campaigns in plain language and get answers straight away.
👀
For now, the Sleeknote MCP is read-only. Your AI assistant can look up your data, but it can't create, edit, activate, disable or delete anything in your account.
You can ask things like:
- "Which of my campaigns are active right now?"
- "Which campaign had the highest conversion rate last month?"
- "How is the split test on my newsletter popup performing?"
- "Summarize how my popups performed this week."
- "Compare my exit-intent campaigns and tell me which one works best."
This makes it quick to check performance, spot your best and weakest campaigns, and pull numbers for reports without exporting anything.
Step 1: Get your Sleeknote credentials
- In the bottom-left corner of the Sleeknote dashboard, click View settings under your email address.
-
Scroll down to MCP Client Credentials and click Generate credentials.
-
A window opens with your Server URL, Client ID and Client secret. Click Copy next to each one and store them somewhere safe, like a password manager. Then click Done.
⚠️
Copy your client secret before you click Done. Sleeknote only shows it once. If you lose it, click Regenerate credentials to get a new pair. Regenerating replaces the old credentials, so any AI tool still using them stops working until you update it.
Step 2: Add Sleeknote in Claude (Pro and Max plans)
- Go to claude.ai and open Settings > Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Name the connector Sleeknote.
- In Remote MCP server URL, paste
https://api.sleeknote.com/mcp. - Click Advanced settings.
- Paste your Sleeknote Client ID into OAuth Client ID.
- Paste your Sleeknote Client secret into OAuth Client Secret.
- Click Add.
- If Claude asks you to connect, click Connect and approve access.
Team and Enterprise plans
On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds the connector once for the whole organization:
- The Owner goes to Organization settings > Connectors and clicks Add custom connector.
- They enter the server URL, then the Client ID and Client secret under Advanced settings, and click Add.
- Each team member then goes to Settings > Connectors, finds Sleeknote (marked Custom) and clicks Connect.
Step 3: Use Sleeknote in a chat
- Start a new chat.
- Click the + button (or the tools menu) and make sure Sleeknote is turned on.
- Ask Claude something, for example: "Show me my active campaigns and their conversion rates."
The first time Claude uses a Sleeknote tool, it may ask you to allow it. Choose Allow always to skip the prompt next time.
