Instead of giving away a discount code for an email, visitors unlock rewards by going through short lessons. The more they learn, the bigger the reward 🚀
Get started
To get started, select the Collect Email Addresses campaign type and choose a Learn to Earn template…
…or start your Learn to Earn campaign from scratch.
Click “Continue” and move to the Design step.
How it works
A Learn to Earn campaign is built as a series of lessons.
Each lesson includes an Educate, Ask and Claim or Continue step:
- Educate – Share a short piece of information about your brand or introduce the Learn to Earn campaign.
- Ask – Ask a question and use the answers in your email marketing.
- Claim or Continue – Let visitors choose to take the reward or continue for a bigger one.
Use the Lesson section in the sidebar to configure your Lessons - simply click on the Learn to Earn element in the campaign to open it. Here you can add more Education and Ask steps by clicking the green buttons. Use the arrows to move the steps up or down.
This is also where you edit the Headline and the Motivator copy - these show at the top of each Lesson - use these to give your visitors some context for the current lesson and motivate them by showing which reward they’re moving towards.
To navigate in your Learn to Earn element, you simply click on it.
Within the Learn to Earn element, you can click and navigate between the different lessons in the right sidebar.
Design your lessons
By clicking the Learn to Earn element, you can customize each lesson.
When editing your lesson, you can use elements from the “Add elements” menu to add text, images, or other elements:
💡 Hint: The Ask step will automatically include radio buttons, you can use to ask questions and collect data from your visitors. Use this for better segmentation in your email marketing.
Set up rewards
Each lesson will unlock a reward. The idea is that you increase the reward to encourage visitors to continue through the lessons, e.g.:
- Lesson 1 → 10% off
- Lesson 2 → 15% off
- Lesson 3 → 20% off
In the Rewards section in the sidebar, you can decide if you want to give out static codes or unique codes.
If you select static codes, you simply type the code for each Lesson. If you select unique codes, you need to upload a list of codes for each of your Lessons. We’ll send you an email when you’re about to run out of codes and disable the campaign if a list of codes has run out.
Remember to create these codes in your shop system as well!
Each time a visitor completes a Lesson and earns a reward they get the opportunity to ‘Claim’ or ‘Continue’.
By selecting ‘Claim’, visitors will have to type in their email address before revealing the earned reward.
This way you both collect an email address and data from the lessons! 😉
Also: Make sure to display the correct reward with mergetag: {{siteData:rewardCode}} in your Success Step so that visitors will see the correct reward. This will automatically be added in the Coupon code element.

To pass data to your email platform, go to the Integration step.
Here you can map:
- Email address
- Answers from your questions
- Reward information
