With Game Studio, you can add a playable mini-game to your campaigns. It's a fun way to grab your visitors' attention and reward them with an offer.
Pick one of our game templates, customize it to match your brand, and add it to your campaign with the Game element. When a visitor wins, the campaign moves on to your success step, where you can show them their reward.
Game Studio is in beta. There are 9 game templates to choose from, and more are on the way.
💡 Good to know: Game Studio is part of the Gamification add-on. If you don't have it yet, contact us to get access.

How to add a game to your campaign
Creating a game in Game Studio and adding it to a campaign
- Start by selecting a campaign type and template, and click Continue.
- In the design step, find the Game element under "Add elements" in the Layout section and drag it into your campaign. Game Studio opens right away.
- Game Studio opens on Choose a game, which shows the games you've already made. To reuse one, select it and skip to step 6.
- To make a new game, click Create Game. Filter the templates by type (Arcade, Puzzle, Sports, Racing, Runner, Party or Branded), select one and click Continue.
- Customize the game in the editor panel on the right. Read more in Customize your game below.
- Check that it says All saved at the top, then click Insert into campaign.
- Design your success step with the reward visitors get when they win. Then save your campaign and activate it when you're ready.
💡 Tip: To change the game later, select the Game element in your campaign and click Edit game in the menu on the right.
The Choose a game page with your saved games
On Choose a game, each game has buttons to play a preview, Edit, duplicate or delete it.
💡 Good to know: Your game is saved in Game Studio, separately from your campaign. Saving the campaign doesn't save your game edits, so make sure it says All saved before you close Game Studio.
Customize your game
The editor panel on the right is split into sections. Click a section to open it. The number next to each section shows how many settings it holds. The preview on the left updates as you make changes.
The Game Studio editor with the preview on the left and the settings panel on the right
- Text & wording: the game title, subtitle, instructions and button text.
- Difficulty & rules: how hard the game is, like how many points or rounds a visitor needs to win.
- Colours & branding: match the game to your brand colors.
- Logo & sponsor spots: add your logo and other branding inside the game.
- Completion screen: what visitors see when the game ends.
- Fullscreen toggle: show or hide the fullscreen button. It's hidden automatically in browsers that don't support fullscreen.
- Images & media: swap the game's images. You can choose from your game library or your Sleeknote image library. Your Sleeknote images are read-only here, so upload new images in the campaign builder first.
- Advanced settings: fine-tune the game's behavior and look. You don't need these to get started.
💡 Good to know: The sections differ a little from game to game, depending on what you can change in each one.
At the top of the editor, use Rename to give your game a name you'll recognize, or Duplicate to make a copy you can change without touching the original. Click Reset to restart the preview. Your changes save automatically, and the button in the top right says All saved once they're stored.
Going live
Campaigns with a game show a game icon on your dashboard and appear under the Game filter.
When a visitor wins, the campaign moves to the next step, usually your success step with the reward. If a visitor closes the campaign and opens it again, the game starts over.
If you edit a game that's already in a live campaign, the change can take up to a minute to show on your website.
FAQ
Can I reuse a game in several campaigns? Yes. Your saved games are on the Choose a game page, each with a snapshot thumbnail so you can tell them apart.
Can I use more than one game in a campaign? Yes. For example, you can add a different game to each day of a Calendar campaign. When a visitor wins, they move on to the next step for that day.
