With our gamification feature, spin-to-win, you can add a wheel of fortune to your campaign and give your visitors the chance to take the wheel for a spin to win a prize.
To get started, you can select our blank spin-to-win template…
...or drag the spin-to-win element onto a campaign from the “Add elements” menu.
Important: Remember to add the merge tags {{siteData:rewardCode}}, {{siteData:rewardHeadline}}, and {{siteData:rewardDescription}} to your Success Step to reveal your discount code and to display your headline and description of the prize etc.
You can customize the wheel to match the look of your website, adjust the probability of winning, and reveal the discount code automatically in the next step.
To customize the design of the wheel, you can use the “Wheel Styles” option in the menu on the right.
To adjust the options and the probability to win each one of them, go to “Edit Options” (Remember to update the discount codes with your own codes 👀.)
Finally, make sure that the option your visitors land on is added to the Success Step. To do that, simply use the merge tag {{siteData:rewardCode}} in your copy.
Additional text connected to the reward can be added to the Success Step with the following merge tags: {{siteData:rewardHeadline}}, {{siteData:rewardDescription}} and {{siteData:rewardWheelText}}
If you want to pass a visitor's discount code along with their email addresses to your email marketing tool, move to the Integration step.
Here you can map the campaign field "Spin-to-win: Discount code" to a corresponding field in your ESP.
While the spin-to-win feature adds an engaging and interactive element to your campaigns, it is crucial to be aware of how and where the coupon codes are stored. With this feature, the coupon codes are stored client-side, meaning they reside within the user’s browser.
This method of storage may present certain security risks. Savvy users or malicious actors could potentially inspect the browser’s elements or monitor network traffic to access the stored codes without going through the intended spin-to-win process. Such actions could lead to unauthorized use or distribution of your coupon codes, which could affect the profitability and effectiveness of your campaign.
